The Wisconsin Land Title Association is proud to present several distinct educational tools provided to it's members. We provide a comprehensive series of courses tailored to give a complete overview of the title insurance process, enhancing the basic knowledge of beginners as well as challenging experienced professionals. We also provide courses to provide information on closing & escrow for residential, construction and commercial. Check the calendar for the next scheduled class or seminar.

Title Examiner Certificate Courses

Wisconsin Land Title Association has designed a series of education programs for title agents that will encompass basic industry knowledge as well as advanced curriculum. There are 6 courses in this series. It is recommended that you have anywhere from 3-6 months of experience in the title industry prior to taking Course I.

A comprehensive series of courses tailored to give a complete overview of the title insurance process, enhancing the basic knowledge of beginners as well as challenging experienced professionals. Designed as a supplemental training vehicle for employers. These courses are held several times each year in Wisconsin Dells.

Residential-RESPA Workshop

Residential Workshop - September 21, 2010
Location: Wisconsin Banker's Assn. Bldg., Madison
This course will focus on the ins and outs of residential real estate closings, from reviewing the title commitment, obtaining payoffs and closing documents, closing instructions, HUD-1 settlement statements, signatures/notaries, dealing with attorneys and title companies, and finalizing the transaction. We will be using a hypothetical transaction throughout the course.
